Pleasant Ridge Community Pool
The Pleasant Ridge Community Pool complex was rebuilt in 2004 and continues to be a wonderful tradition and treasured asset. The outdoor pool is part of the Community Center Complex at 4 Ridge Road. The pool features a zero depth entry with spray features, two dedicated lap lanes, diving boards, locker rooms, a concession stand and a grassy, picnic area. The pool operates seasonally, opening the Friday before memorial day and closing the Monday of Labor Day. Open every day of the summer season, the pool is a hub of activity and community life. The summer days start early and end at 8:00 pm. Check the schedule for days and times for early bird lap swim, swim team practice, swim lessons, general swim, special events and family nights. There are several afternoons in which the pool is closed for swim team meets or the synchronized swim show.
Residency
Residency is verified once a current and valid Michigan ID or Driver's license denotes a Pleasant Ridge address. Once proof has been validated, residents take a picture and receive a membership card. There is no additional fee to utilize the pool. Residents are asked to bring their membership card with them on each visit to the pool. There are no options for non-residents to become members.
Swim Team
The Pleasant Ridge Swim Team, The Piranhas, have been representing Pleasant Ridge for many years in the NSSL outdoor competitive swim program. The team is open to non-residents, ages 5 to 18. For season information, email Coach Colleen at pleasantridgeswim@yahoo.com
Guest Passes
Residents are allotted 35 electronic guests passes each summer for the pool only. This allows residents the opportunity to bring non-residents to the pool as their guest. Guests must be accompanied by the resident during their entire visit. Residents are responsible for their guests and are encouraged to review the rules with the guests.
Hours of Operation
The pool is open every day between Memorial day and Labor day. A detailed schedule is available each May.
